Attendance: Independent Study students must attend school one day per week at their assigned day and time. Students are required to earn at least 2 credits each week.  All work must be at least 75% correct and 70% correct on closed book tests. 
Students who do not meet these requirements will be placed on probation for the remainder of that semester.  After being placed on probation, any other missed assignment or missed attendance will result in a transfer to Chaparral High School.

Grading: 
I grade assignments using points. 

90-100%= A or A-
80- 89% = B+ or B or B-
75- 79% = C+ or C

Electronics:
Please turn off all electronics, including phones, music players, etc., before you enter the classroom. Any cellphone or electronic device on
display will be sent immediately to the office where you may retrieve it at the end of the school day.

Each student will be working on different assignments in subjects according to their individual needs for graduation.
