End of Credit Policy
| When a student has completed the requirements for any given credit, they will be awarded that credit. NOTE!...not all credits will have a credit ending assessment. A credit may end with a test related to the final chapter of a unit or with the last assignment being turned in. All assignments are graded prior to issuing a credit. Baseline effort for a credit is 14 productive days. Includes active learning on the part of the student for all of the days involved. Non productive days will not be counted in the baseline of 14 days. This comes into to play when considering P.E. grades and ongoing project type work. The accumulation of points/percentages will be calculated to determine the letter grade that accompanies each credit. The average score of the accumulated credits will determine the Quarter and Semester grades. |
