We welcome parent involvement at The Ed Jones education center. Research shows that students whose parents are involved in their education generally achieve higher grades and test scores, attend school more regularly, do their homework more consistently and exhibit more positive attitudes and behavior.

Please visit the school office any time and stay in touch with your student's teachers and counselor - see the Staff Directory for phone numbers and e-mail addresses.  Use the Student Handbook to answer any questions you may have regarding school policy, programs, courses, rules and services.

We also welcome community participation, including donations of time, money, materials and expertise.  Click on the School Calendar to see what is happening throughout the year.

To help you know what's going on at school, check out the links of services for parents and community members below.

Bulldog No Phone Policy

We have begun taking the phones out of the hands of the students in the classrooms. We all know that studies show that cell phones in classrooms are more of a detriment than an asset. As you may know Chaparral and Vista High Schools are 1 to 1 schools when it comes to technology for our students. With our cell phone policy comes a progressive discipline that helps us to help students follow the rules. To read more please click here
